Holla Vodka, started in York, sees early success and now looks to push its label out west. The company hit the ground running in late 2016 with a presence in several York restaurants, and it expanded sales into Delaware. More than a year later, the company isn’t showing signs of stopping.
“It’s funny that it appeals to older females that have seen or heard (the term ‘Holla’) on Desperate Housewives or The Voice,” Shorb said. “The cultural relevance, it spans a larger demographic than we realize… It’s got a fresher appeal than other brands.”
